Anybody know if this will fit an 82 GS850GL? I could fab brackets if necessary.

No reason why it shouldn't, but it might need some brackets for the rear.

What about this one?

Not sure if this one will fit my bike. It says 77 thru 80. Did the exhaust port spacing on the head change between 80 and 82? Anybody know if it will fit?

Let's just say that it will be REAL HARD to fit a '77 or '78 GS850.

I know the ad says it's for 750 and 850, that just shows the similarity of the two engines.

Either one of the auctions you have posted will fit your bike, but you might need to do some adapting for the rear mounts (at the rear footpegs).

Yeah, since they didn't make an 850 until '79, that would be a bit tough.
