gs850 misfire under load

    gs850 misfire under load

    i have a 1981 gs850 runs great till you get it out on the road mid range it will misfire then clear up higher in the rpm i dont know what is going on HELP PLEASE!

    More clues please. like what maintenance have you done? Stock exhaust? stock airbox? Is this a new-to-you bike?
    By mid range, you mean like 60 mph in 5th?
