1978 GS1000E Fuel Petcock - Conversion?

Finally got a decent pic. I don't trust that green fuel line, but it looks like the answer. I might follow the suggestion to remove a little from the petcock lever. The seat is not installed in the pic.

You should be able to go at a 90 and right in front of the slide towers..wont be extreme or kink the line. Theres plenty of room.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

I'm told the bolt spacing on the leverless petcock is different than the lever type. They're not interchangeable. Also, this is factory paint, but not a '79 color, and the rest of my bike is black.
