A Special Note about Email accounts!
DO NOT SIGN UP USING hotmail, outlook, gmx, sbcglobal, att, bellsouth or email.com. They delete our forum signup emails.

A note to old forum members...
I receive numerous requests from people who can no longer log in because their accounts were deleted. As mentioned in the forum FAQ, user accounts are deleted if you haven't logged in for the past 6 months. If you can't log in, then create a new forum account. If you don't get an error message, then check your email account for an activation message. If you get a message stating that the email address is already in use, then your account still exists so follow the instructions in the forum FAQ for resetting your password.

Have you forgotten your password or have a new email address? Then read the forum FAQ for details on how to reset it.

Any email requests for "can't log in anymore" problems or "lost my password" problems will be deleted. Read the forum FAQ and follow the instructions there - that's what we have one for...

  • Returning Visitors

If you are a returning visitor who never received your confirmation email, then odds are your email provider is blockinig emails from our server. The only thing that can be done to get around this is you will have to try creating another forum account using an email address from another domain.

If you are a returning visitor to the forum and can't log in using your old forum name and password but used to be able to then chances are your account is deleted. Purges of the databases are done regularly. You will have to create a new forum account and you should be all set.

Well, this part of "the collective" thinks it's going to take a lot of work to make it worth the asking price.

A waste of $100 if you ask me. Those dents look as though they are not repairable and the flattened area's look like they're bad enough to effect flow. I think there are far better deals to be had than that, just my 2 cents though.

Those pipes got HOT!!
The can is worth $50 but the header looks like junk to me.

thanks guys, needed your opinions. waiting for a better condition one is the way i'll go..

For my information..what headers fit the 700? will a 750 pipe fit that? never been around any 700's before.

The '83-'86 GS750E/ES and pop up headlight Katanas all share the same size header with the GS700E/ES.

The older GS750 headers do not fit.

Edit: the first generation GSXR750 headers fit as well, but they do not mount up the same and will have to modified a bit. That has been a fairly common replacement exhaust because there are more of them out there.

If you're looking for aftermarket only, they are pretty rare. Stock exhausts seem to come up more often on ebay. I have two spare stockers myself hanging on the wall in my garage.

I have a friend who has a slightly used Bassani Superbike pipe for a 1986/1987 GSXR750 that is just hanging in his garage. I told him to put it on Ebay. At least someone will get to use a great pipe instead of it just hanging there!!!

So what you are saying is that this pipe will bolt up to the cylinder head of a GS700/750E/ES and clear the bottom of the GS motor? But the rear mounting bracket will have to be modified or changed to fit the GS700/750E ES chassis?

Someone might want a Bassani Superbike pipe for their Gs700/750E/ES, but he wants to make sure it will fit those bikes. He don't want to lie to the people looking at the listing for the pipe.

Are you ****ting me, $76 shipping costs ? Must be overnight shipping or the guy is making a bunch on the cost. Last one I sent boxed up was around $25 UPS
