Quick question on main jet model

Been looking around trying to search and find the right main jet model for my 1980 gs450E. Im pretty sure the carbs are mikuni bs34 I bought a pack from bike bandit and they were wayy too big.

I got these in a 145 Because I put pods on the carb so I wanted to up the size.

    Any help would be appreciated

That is the correct model jet, but might be a bit large.

I don't have information that is specific to the '80 450, but most of them, other than the '83 450E, had 115 mains. The '83 had 120 mains.

For pods, the general rule of thumb is to add 4-6 sizes, depending on the type of pods. Starting with the 115s, that would mean that you would need something in the 125-130 range. Starting with the 120s, you would to go 130-135.

If you also have a freer-flowing exhaust, you will need to add a few sizes, too, so you might be OK, if you have non-stock pipes.
