    84 1150 pilot jet part #

I am rebuilding the BS36 carbs on my 1150. The PO buggered the heads on the pilot jets. The only part # I can find online is 09492-45016 which is a 45 jet. This is a Canadian model which requires a 47.5 jet. Anyone have a part # for those? Thanks, Bob

Just order new ones from Z1 stating the carb size or drill them per this chart.

EDIT...MY BAD. The chart is for mains...but keep it handy anyways.

make sure if your pilot's have bleed holes then use the same.
if they are solid then use the same...

They are solid, no bleed holes.

Can I cut a new screwdriver slot in them with my dremel or will that effect them adversely?

Yup..... it wont hurt anything as long as you dont go too deep and ruin the hole. Hack saw blade is better....leaves more meat on each side of the slot than even the thinnest dremel wheels do.

NOTE...Once you recut the slot, use a wire to reclean the slag from the holes edges...make it nice and smooth again
