GS750L will not start - help
After cleaning and rebuilding the carbs, new plugs , fresh gas , new battery when I try to start the engine, it seems to want to start but doesn't catch. It will start briefly when you spray carb spray directly into the back air filter.

Yes what he said..PRI is the setting to prime the carbs. This must be done if the bowls are completely dry or it will act as you described.
Also, just use choke and DO NOT twist the throttle as your trying to start it. And be sure the vacuum is hooked up to the small nipple on the petcock and to the vacuum port on the number 3 carb..small bras nipple on the upper l;eft side of the carb.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

We have done everything that was mentioned above, but it is still not firing.
Do you think the clutch cable is a problem.
