    I screwed up

When I re-built the carbs after the cleaning, I did not put the O rings on the air mixture screws. I'm not messing with it any more tonight sense the kids are sleeping and its 30 degrees out side. Ill fix that mistake tomorrow and post an up date.

Your carbs should be nice and tight in your new boots- if they leak (and it sounds like they are) when you use "choke" system, you won't get enough vacuum on "choke" passages to pull fuel up into carb throat at cold start.
When you benched sync these carbs, did throttle plates all check out about the same (they will appear almost closed when on idle stop screw) ?

        It's ALIVE!!!

Ok, as I said last night I messed up when I put the carbs together. This morning I installed new O rings on the air mixture screws, problem gone!! It was never the boots, the air mixture screw was sucking in enough carb cleaner when I sprayed around the boots. I put it together the right way it starts right up (even at 25 degrees) and it works as advertised! Imagine that! Thanks for all the help yesterday, I really appreciate how fast you all were willing to give me pointers!

No ice or Snow in Houston, just cold. I rode around the neighborhood, but not ready to get out on the roads until its insured and registered, I should have that done next month!
