Anyone want a BIG Kerker baffle ?

This is the 1.5" baffle that I bought for the Kerker on my ELR. I think Rob and Trevor will back me up when I say that it is plenty loud enough! When the revs start to increase the Kerker really comes into its own. My Kerker came with 2" baffle when it was new. I installed it and the noise that came out of it was unbearable and a little embarrassing. I rode around with my head spinning like the exorcist kid, always on the lookout for the cops, it was truly TOO LOUD. I put the 1.5" back on and both myself and the bike are happier. I still have the 2 incher, if you hate your neighbours I'll sell it to you!

One day while redlining my '73 Z1 the baffle shot out the back. I never re-installed it, and became one of those ultra-loud guys I once frowned on.

Excessively loud street bikes are obnoxious, annoying, and **** off the neighbors. I despise them. A nice "growl" is cool, but plain out LOUD sucks on the street.

Ya, I'm a bike person but I hate those ultra loud crotch rockets. I have one that goes to work every morning at around 6:30am. I can hear him come down the road a couple blocks away pulling 10k+ RPMS. Pi$$es me off big time.

I am trying not to be one of those guys... that's why I'm looking for a smaller baffle.
But I did have a convertible next to me under an overpass last week... I couldn't resist. I just "barked" it... a quick snap of the rt wrist...
and by the time we came out of the overpass, the convertible was 100 feet behind me.

After seeing so many guys with the same baffle, I am now leaning towards making a smaller one and keeping this one.
I found perforated tubing... Edit.. this stuff is cheap if you look for it !
Or I can just buy a real one today for $145.
Hmmmm..... Gotta wait until I fix the brakes (and buy another disc) anyway.

Holy old thread, Batman !!!
I finally got the motor buttoned up. ( I bad head so of course I needed to paint the new one , and make it pretty)

And it's still too loud. Still looking for smaller Kerker baffle. Mine is 2 1/4".
