    Carb issue

Ok here's the deal. I've been lurking awhile trying to come up with an answer to no avail so here goes. I recently destroyed my outer right (as you face forward) carburetor by trying to drill out a broken pilot jet. Great idea right? Anyways I am trying to source another carb body and have a quick question. I have a full extra set of BS32 Mikunis coming from a seller on Ebay but I'd like to salvage my current set as well. I am having troubles locating an outer right carb body but I am able to find an inner right. Can this carb body be interchanged to the outer position by swapping all the parts from my outer to it or are there specific differences that will make this impossible? Thanks in advance.
Edit: Bike is in sig but it's a 1981 GS750L with the 32mm CV Mikuni carbs.

Let's hope that your replacement ebay carbs are better than what you got and mangled- just how bad is this #4 carb anyways? did you break off a drill bit or something? and you are talking about pilot jet not the idle mixture screw ,right?

Its mangled in the sense that i completely drilled the threads away. I was trying to open the deep hole leading to the jet just enough to get my 1/4" easy out into it and the drill just bit and went so to speak. The threads for the pilot jet (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 jet like this) are completely gone. i tried to thread in another jet and no love.
