Manual Choke?
Is there a way I can eliminate the handlebar choke setup? I'd like a manual choke down on the carb rack like the KZ900's have. I don't know if their VM26's use the same rack as the GS. I've been doing some interweb searches, but cannot find anything...

But, you have to pull the carb rack to access the choke lifter set screws1978 GS 1000 (since new)

i like what you both have said. but the parts fische for the 1977 gs750 seems to be a photo copy from 1977 and the quality to go with it. and the parts diagram for the carbs doesn't list the choke lever as being an available part anymore (item 50 it looks like)

I can probably just make one if I can find a better image of how it's mounted, the spring needed, etc.Last edited by Guest; 02-25-2014, 07:58 AM.
