New Michelin Pilot Activ tires, 530 chain and sprockets. New paint in 2012, but gas tank leaked and had to be Kreem coated and touched up. Later, some of the paint puckered around the gas cap. The gauges bounce a little. This is an awesome old bike with a ton of power and awesome torque. New? No. It is nearly 36 yrs. but in great condition. That said, I have no idea if it will haul you all the way to Manitoba, etc. I used to commute every day 52 miles round trip on it, but now it only does about 32 miles a week. It is well sorted, starts, goes and stops well. I added an OEM GS1150 oil cooler last year to help with the summer heat. Ferodo brake pads and stainless steel brake lines. It IS that nice. You decide. Shoot me a response and I'll contact you.

I've been playing with an advanced version of that idea on paper, with automatic drains that run off into a container for easy re-introduction of fuel back into the tank.

I'm not yet ready to start prototyping, but if I get to the experimental stage I'll be sure to post up the results.
