What size of band clamp is needed

Hey everyone easy question this time. I broke a couple of the band clamps that go on the boots between the airbox and carbs. i am trying to order some new ones but want to make sure i order the right size. I do not know how the sizing goes to measure the ones i have.

They are needed for my 1980 GS550L. i believe i need ones to cover 60mm but wanted to confirm before i make the order.

    Thanks

Look on a BETTER website like Boulevard Suzuki (Parts Outlaw), you will see that those clamps are part number 09402-60208, and will cost you $2.94.

There is a pretty good reason we don't do much shopping at Bike BANDIT.

I haven''t ever found clamps that fit correctly other than the Suzuki parts. It's not the diameter, it's the width. They need to be very skinny clamps to fit in there properly.

            No, "smart shopper".

            Why waste money?

Why encourage others to waste money?

If you really want to waste your money, do your shopping at Alpha Sports, where the same part will cost $5.37?

Being from canada i'am looking at PartsnMore. since i am adding these to another order i am making. the major thing i need to confirm is the size they list 6-7 size ranges. these are the ones that fit the suzuki's but i need to confimr that i am right in thinking i need one that would fit 60mm??????????

Is 60mm the size i need?

I always use boulavard to find the part numbers but with the shipping costs to canada they are not always the cheapest for us up here in the great very white north.

I don't have a 550 handy to check the sizes, but the part number might give a clue.

Look right after the hyphen, you will see the numbers "60". There is a convention in the bolt-numbering where those numbers indicate the size, not sure if it works for clamps, too.
