GS1000E Fuel and associated hose routing
I have a 1978 GS1000E and need to find an accurate drawing/photo/illustration of where the hoses go to and from the fuel tank to the carbs.

Fuel line is the fat one from from the petcock to the fuel T, The vacuum line from #3 carburetor goes to the smaller port on the petcock. The float bowl overflows (one off the bottom of each float bowl) go down betwen the engine and the swing arm, they just dangle there. The float bowl vents, two hoses up high on #2 and #4, tht look just like the vacuum line on #3, go up and over the top of the air box, don't connect to anything. There is a little slot to hold them in place.

There is a square opening behind the transmission on the right side that the bowl overflows dangle through.http://www.thegsresources.com/_forum...ine=1440711157'78 GS1000E, Dyna-S ignition, Dyna Green Coils, K&N pods, Delkevic SS 4-1 exhaust, Dynojet Stage 3 jet kit, Russell SS Brake Lines, Progressive suspension, Compu-Fire series Regulator 55402 and Advmonster cree LED headlight conversion.

A word here-
The float bowl vent tubes need to end at a location above the carbs. Stock is about the height of the airbox top at the rear end of the fuel tank pointed rearward out of the airstream. If the carb vent hoses end below the carbs, fuel can be siphoned out of them resulting in poor running and horrible mileage.NO PIC THANKS TO FOTO BUCKET FOR BEING RIDICULOUS
