    Leak From Hoses

I started riding this 82 GS today and it seems to be leaking a bit from this hose (also when parked). When I bought it I didn't see this leaking. Can someone please explain to me alittle bit about these hoses?

    Thanks, in advance

Drains. Probably your carburetors need some work.

      Hi,

Or your petcock is leaking, causing the carbs to leak. One of those hoses could also be a drain from your battery. One of those hoses is from your airbox. One is a drain from the fuel gauge sender unit in the fuel tank.

There is a little information here: Where Do These Hoses Go?

And I'm sure you can find more in your manual. No manual? Hit the links in my sig.

      Thank you for your indulgence,

Find out ASAP if it's gas. Check/smell oil for gas smell. Check/understand petcock's correction operation. overfilling carbs will wash down into crankcase and will cause blowby thru camcover vent and out to airbox and then out to drain hose
