    Exhaust Pipe Plate

    Will someone tell me if the exhaust pipe plates ( part # 7 in parts link below) are for the two inside pipes only and not needed for the outside pipes.

      I would agree with Nessism since it only call for 4 showen on the 2 inside pipes

        Thanks! I will go with the inner only. It must be due to the inners being a fixed placement vs. the outside, which has some play.

            because the outside header pipes are removable you can slide the clamps on from the rear of header therefore the 2 half moon plates are not required the outside headers are larger where clamp bolts up to head
            the inside pipes being welded on requiring these plates so the clamps can slip over the end of header then the plates are inserted to allow clamps to hold header onto the cylinder head
