I just checked my coils, got underneath and looked and the left side coil when sitting on the bike is leaking oil. It also tested bad. So i'd say it's safe to blame that.

Any links to some good ones? I did a quick search and found mostly after market ones, but found original ones on bike bandit for 122 each (ouch)

Here's a quick pic of the leak, or what i can see of it. It's for sure coil oil, it's thick like molasses. http://i.imgur.com/kERBhCN.jpg

I wish i knew how it started. But it's got a lil hole in it, and there was oil or whatever it is under it. I don't really know if it's oil, or what it is exactly. But whatever is in it, is coming out.

It is my understanding that they are filled with a very thick, tar-like insulation material.
When heated, it will be thin enough to flow through a hole or crack in the housing.

I found a set of Honda magna coils for mine, they test to nearly the same specs' I still need to get some wires and caps though :/
