Does anyone know where or if I can get a new fuel sender for a 1980 gs550? All I can find is used

Do you have a 550 "L" model?
If so, I think used is all you're going to find. When I look up the part is shows as no longer available. If you're lucky you may find a NOS one around on ebay under part number: 34810-45300http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

Wow, that's weird. All the parts fiches seem to not even display one for a 550E. Only the L shows the sender. Maybe someone else will chime in with a substitute that will work.

I have the 1980 550 L model and it has the fuel gauge/sender. No idea if it works yet, I'm planning on rebuilding it using the guide on BikeClift's site sometime soon.Comment
