Exhaust Options for an '81 GS650E?
I have been doing some research but I am relatively new to the realm of motorcycles and even newer to anything related to aftermarket. I am not looking for the loudest possible exhaust or anything obnoxious, just something a little louder and throatier than the stock exhaust. I will admit, I'm not a huge fan of the gradual cone shaped exhaust. I got such a great deal on this bike, I have the funds to purchase something nice for her as a welcome home giftAny pipes that you guys could recommend for me? I would prefer to be able to install them myself but if the carbs require re-jetting I will most likely bite the bullet and have it professionally installed.

A "welcome home gift"- where's it been?
Anyways, what do you want ? -4 into 1 (like link below) or 4 into 2 (seems less common)
Critical things to check are
1/ can you change oil filter without removing exhaust
2/ will centerstand still work
I'm unsure if shafties 650 take a different setup than the E . You might get away with no jetting changes, but others will know.1981 gs650L
