i was talking more about the actual text on the gauges...and the measuresments....5, 10, 15, etc. do all the carbs have to read in the normal range or is it more important that the readings are about even, no matter where on the gauge they read. hopefully my question makes sense. maybe i am wording it incorrectly.

it more important that they are close to each other than where on the gauge they read. Mine usually end up reading around the 8 to 10 range on the outer scale.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems to be just a tad slow to return to idle then I'm use to. You may want to fatten up the pilot screws just a tad. Maybe 1/2 turn out and see if that improves the throttle response. Otherwise is sounds sweet.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg

Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.;)
