What kind of nuts are recommended? Plain old hex nuts? Flange or no flange? Maybe even acorn? Locking?

Also, when you go to install them, put two of the brass nuts on the stud and tighten them to each other. They will lock together and allow you to use the outer nut to tighten down the stud.
