hopefully the pictures are good enough to tell what I'm trying to explain.

Glad to here you got it sorted out. What clip position are you running? It's been awhile, but I think I ended up either the middle slot or one below it. I would have to check, but I remember 4 - 4.5 turns out on the pilot screws.
Does the needle ever make contact with the top of the jet? I'm thinking not.

              Yes.
It would be useful to anybody else if you go back and edit your firt post with a final configuration. and summary conclusions.

of course i would love to put a wideband on my bike to truly make sure, but what i have right now is, clip position 3 (middle). 142.5 main jet. 50 pilot jet. 2 1/2 turns out on the mixture screw. as of right now i have only gone probably 50 miles so im still keeping my eyes on it all.

yea it idles fine, i ordered those 47.5 jets and just got them yesterday. again now confused. the "50" jets they sent with the kit did not have the holes on the side where as the 47.5 does. should i be still def running the 47.5 jets? it idles with no problem and runs fine. also good question i feel like now that i have good power up top i feel like the bike really really wakes up around 5 1/2 to 6k rpm and pulls like hell. does this sound right?

                      final update,
                      factory pro 3.0 kit.....sorta
                      142.5 main jets
                      50 pilot jet
needle set at 4th clip position if counting from the top (aka raised up one)
mixture screw set at 2 turns out
bike makes smooth power now and pulls like hell. it was a pain but factory pro was a great company to deal with as they sent all other jets for free. even shipping. now the bike feels better than ever.
