so far have it all back together, with pods know, 47.5 pilot jet, dj 138 mains and needle back to 3rd spot per dynojet instructions, a/f screws 2.5 turns out. I haven't done tuning yet again with a/f screws but initial impressions are very poor, with idle screw out all the way still idles at 1300rpm, popping/backfiring back out the carbs, will fiddle with it again in the morning sure my neighbors here don't like me tuning my bike at midnight.

Check for air leaks and that boots are all tight . I assume your ignition timing is close. Are you saying you can not turn down the idle below 1300 without it quitting? Did you clean the carbs? You really have to make sure all passages are clean. I guess you just put in new 47.5s so they were probably clean.

The other area is ignition. Have you checked the voltage to your coils . An 1100 needs good voltage . Generally a coil relay mod is required unless you are really dilegent cleaning all of your switches. My 1100 was a had start at less than 11v to the coils.

The other thing is card sync. Are they close? There is something else going on that is not jetting.

Alright update time, started it let it warm up, checked my carb sync #1 carb was out a little dialed it back in, know they are pretty close with in a 1lb of vac of each other. idle is good its dialed in right on 1000rpm you rev it doesn't want to die or anything after, just comes down and holds at 1000rpm, iam right about 3 turns out on a/f screws. throttle response seems good for cv carbs. Know to the issue was having originally 1/8th throttle sputter, its mostly gone, the difference know with the new setup is they point at which it does it, the most is right around 3500-4000rpm spot rather then 2500-3000rpm and its less noticable . It pulls hard all the way till redline 9500rpm no issues there, still has that slight hesitation when the needles raise up if you wide open from a stop but iam guessing that's just cv carbs. I did notice I forgot to put back the dynojet washers on the needles like the instructions say but seeing my symptons iam thinking the needles need to come up a notch? 3rd from bottom. what you guys think? iam guessing dynojet washers will lean me out.

disregard the last post of issues, them seem to all clear up. idk iam ok with it though

Removing the washer is like richening it 1/2 notch.
I would richen the needle one notch and add the washer.

Update: Moved the needle up a notch and 3500-4k problem is gone, everything seems to be be good, only thing left is just a tiny hint of a stumble less then 1/8th throttle but iam guessing is a/f screws, I haven't finely tuned them there just sittin 3 turns out. so iam thinking case closed

link to my current issue. other thing i noticed is everyonce in a while i get a little backfire threw the carb well one of them, heres all that ive done

                Carbed dipped carbs
double checked cam timing and valve adjustment
double checked ignition, static timing check
put new carb boots on and clamps (should be no air leaks)
high idle method on a/f screws
and triple checked carb sync with carb tune.

                final jetting
                mk 132.5
                47.5 pilot
3rd clip from bottom on needle
                dh160 air pilot jet

Iam kinda at a loss, it does run well other then idle

Think iam going to return to stock everything and start over.

If you are certain you have no air leaks than take out the idle mixture screw a half turn.
