    1978 gs 1000 e 4 into 1

    Currently I have 4 into 2 pipes all original ..wondering how much better realy is a 4 into 1 ??
    Is it realy worth the extra $350 ?

    You could buy a used 4-1. I have a Kerker for sale.

      Whats the differance between the 4 into 1 & 4 into 2 ?

            Yes, bigger main jet certainly, probably move the needle up a notch or two. It will take some trial and error to get it right.

              Thx again !! You always have the answeres im lookin for ....
              Reason being is I know someone who has anew 4into 1. He thinks it will fit on my bike but not 100 percent sure . So I wanted to know how much messin around id have to do .. and you pretty much answered that for me .
              I think for the time being ill invest in two new tires and wait for abetter deal on the 4 into 1 pipes ...
