    Sonco Model 364.
    Just got this for 50$ on CL.
    Seems like a fair quality unit. Came with 4 carb adapters, and the hoses with inline adjusters to calm the flickering gauges.

    What can I say.... I hooked her up, used the 3 adjusters between the carbs to make the carbs read the same...then used the mixture screws to adjust to the highest audible rpm.

    I never had gauges before and never synced my carbs. I always just bench synced when doing a full carb rebuild and they ran great so I left it.
    But after using a real sync tool I cannot believe how awesome it is.
    I just did a valve adjustment a few weeks back. The bike was still buzzy like it had been...but it started way better and felt smoother all around.
    Synced carbs....75% less handlebar buzz.....starts instantly, made the whole bike smoother and quieter and throttle response is amazing.
    I know this is all common knowledge. Lol I'm just a happy camper.

    I guess the only questions are:
    Anyone heard of these gauges? And
    My throttle was very hard to turn....I eliminated cable problems or throttle tube issues....after the sync my throttle twist is super smooth and a lot easier. Is it possible a carb sync could have an effect on how stiff your throttle twist is?

    When you have gauges like that, you need to make a manifold T adapter, so you can hook up all four gauges to ONE carb at the same time. That will let you compare each gauge to the others, to make sure the GAUGES are all the same. Then, when you connect them to the individual carbs, you will know whether the difference is the gauge or the carb.

    No, a carb sync will not affect throttle pull.

      Steve..If those are like the Emgos..which they look identical less the blue color.. the faces screw off and there are adjustment screws. I usually set the needles so they are in the exact same place on all 4 gauges before starting. But i like the 4 way Tee idea.

        Having a "same starting place" will help, but it helps to KNOW they are all reading the same "under load".

        And, ... those four needles are NOT in the same starting place.

              Agreed on the sync.
              I have no instructions but perhaps I will take the face off one gauge to look for a sync screw.
              A little fine tuning and these seem pretty good.

                Shouldnt need to remove anything except the plastic lens. If they are adjustable youll see a brass slotted screw to adjust, hard to tell from the picture but it looks like something just to the right of the 700 number.
