    No aftermarket GS550 fuel petcock?

    Hey guys,

I've been searching for a new fuel petcock for my 1985 GS550esf and can't seem to find one anywhere. All I come across are rebuild kits? Anyone else happen to have trouble finding one?

Remove petcock and measure mounting bolt spacing- which way do fuel and vacuum lines face?

They go towards the front of the bike. I'll need to measure the spacing tomorrow.

        Why not OEM?

Z1 is out of stock for the GS550 right now. where else could i get one without paying a arm and a leg. Parts outlaw has them for $63 or something close to that.

Try this Florida guy - I got mine from him: also has eBay store

thanks guys...i'll check out the link. Im not sure how much the OEM is. I'll need to contact suzuki. Upon further inspection, the petcock seems to be working. No fuel flows out the line when its off. Guess i'll need to inspect the carbs

                  No problem!

I'd recommend PartsOutlaw. Call up and ask Kelsey for a free shipping code! There's another cheaper OEM parts place I found, however, I had some issues...
