Thanks. I read your post and went out and did the same thing. The tops on or off didn't seem to make any difference in the readings, but I would make an adjustment, then put the top back on to make sure while it was still running. I only adjusted 1 and 4 and by the time they were equal to 3, 2 had leveled out too. I got them to within 1cm and called it good.

Smoother idle, less vibration.

I lost some of that loping idle sound though. (sad face)
