The one with the screen came out of the bike. The one without is the one that the mechanic says "yeah sure it'll fit" is he right? I am not a fan of this shop currently and don't really want to destroy my bike because of his word.

Hi, I had to replace 2 of them since they were squished inside the carb. Bought new ones from the local zuki dealership, and this is what they gave me.

The one on the left is typical of an aftermarket unit. Personally I haven't had good luck with them but others have. They either work or they don't. Wont ruin your bike to give them a shot. Just make sure to check your float height after and verify that gas doesn't pour out of the overflow when you fill the float bowls.http://img633.imageshack.us/img633/811/douMvs.jpg
