I should mention that the bike runs strong to redline with absolutely no hesitation. I plan to do a full throttle shut down check on the plugs later today. I have a road picked out

Quick jet ID question
I pulled apart my carbs last night while waiting for my new throttle cable. Bike is a '83 1100e. They are Mikuni BST36's that I bought and installed several years ago from eBay. After some serious searching I have determined that the main jets are Keihin or equivilant. They are size 148 and are 8mm in length. I could not find a match in size or length in any Mikuni chart. I searched Ronayers.com and jetsrus.com which brings me to the question(s). These jets are 1mm shorter the the Mikuni (9mm) and are considerably larger (at least in number) than what was stock (112.5?) in their original GSXR configuration. Will the length affect operation? and... are the numbers denoting actual jet size the same in Mikuni and Keihin?
