Canuck members, bringing Berrymans back to Canada?

    Fellow Canadians,
if I bring a can of Berrymans Carb Dip back to Canada, will Canada Border Services confiscate it at the border?
Whats been your experience with our friendly agents?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can bring it back to Canada. Make sure that you get the Material Safety Data Sheet for it and everything will be good. Randy

I had no trouble at all bringing it back through Windsor. Get it at Walmart - it was much cheaper than the auto parts stores.

You probably won't have a problem bringing it back, just don't tell them exactly what it is. That being said if you need to do a dip I've got a gallon of the Kleen-Flo carb dip, seems to works pretty good. Just PM me if you need to borrow it. I will be out of town until July 14 though.

I just don't mention it...no problems. I've used that kleen-flo Sandy and it just doesn't compete with the Berrymans.

There is another carb dip out there made by Gunk, called (practically enough) "Gunk Carburetor and Parts Cleaner".

I've used both the Berryman's and the Gunk product, and couldn't tell the difference. Neither could the carbs. The Gunk product was the same price as the Berryman's.

Maybe you could find the Gunk stuff in Canada. I don't know if the carb dip active ingredient in general is banned there, or if Berryman's just didn't want to mess with the hassle of getting certified in Canada.

Gunk makes a lot more products than Berryman's, so maybe they sell their stuff up north.

Griffin, doesn't appear to be any such Gunk product available here in Canada.
                  Thanks for your help.
