When consulting the magic 8 ball for advice, one must first ask it "will your answers be accurate?"

Micro cracks in the wires do let moisture permiates them. An old guy told me to take the coils off and get some 100% silicone spray, soak them and let it soak in to the wires....do this 3 or 4 times. The silicone then repells all water and moisture and stops wetness malfunctions dead in their tracks.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Dont know..never used it. This was on my 98 Honda Shadow. Wires get wet in the rain then start sputtering and all sorts of crap. Sit on side of road and let the engine heat dry them and then good for a little while longer...then repeat again.
$2.00 dollar can at auto zone and it was good to go after treatment. Tested it with the spray from a garden hose and it never missed a beat afterwards.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
