need help

I have rebuilt all the carbs from the ground up rebuilt the petcock and it is still just pouring frail out go the carbs and won't run unless fuel is just pouring out of it. Thus is my frist time really messing with this type of bike so Amy help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anyone in the memphis area or north mississippi area.

Help us out and tell us what bike you have.Vacuum operated petcock??? Rebuilding them is probably a waste- disconnect fuel outlet line and test petcock for correct operation before moving on to your likely carb problems.

It has a vacuum petcock and have rebuilt it also. I can take the tank off and fill the carbs full of fuel and it runs fine but when I put the tank on it is like it won't run unless it has fuel running out of it

I have rebuilt the carbs everything is new except for the diaphragm and rebuilt the petcock with a rebuild kit. Am getting good vacuum from all of the lines.

You fill the carbs and it runs fine. Does it flood when you put the tank on?
"ffuel running out of it"... By that you mean the carbs? Are the fuel and vacuum lines on correctly when this happens?

Yeah fuel runs out of the holes on the carb and will only run on primary but it floods it out every time and if I get it running and turn it to run it will die

Sounds like you have more than one problem. Did you replace the needle valves for the floats?
You also need to test the petcock.

Have replaced the needle ans float valve and have tested the petcock and if I put it on primary gas runs out turn it to run it doesn't

Have adjusted the floats to 22mm but it doesn't look like fuel is going through the float vavle

Have you removed the fuel line and seen if gas flows out of the petcock in the prime position ?. Either your floats are way too high or there's a problem with the needles & seats. Hard to believe that all 4 would be bad though. Did you double check the float heights ?

Yes in primary feul runs out of lines and I went by factory spec when adjusting floats

It sounds like it's not opening with vacuum. Stick a line on the petcock and suck on it. Fuel should flow and stop when you let off.
Fuel should never leak from your carbs. Something is wrong with the needle valves or the float level.
