vacuum hoses from carb to ?

hello, have recently bought a bike with cv carbs but the pet cock doesn,t have the 2nd outlet to attach the vacuum Hoses to. Problem is what to do with the vacuum Hoses from the carbs which are now redundant, do i blank them or just leave them open to breathe ?

Remove them and cap the ports
    You have more than 1?

thanks, the bike is a 1987 gsxr 400 with 2 x twin choke diaphragm carbs, both have an outlet that join into one & i presume ,used to go to the vacuum Type fuel tap which has been replaced at some point for a single outlet on/ off/reserve tap. The vacuum Pipe was just lying There on the top of the engine.it doesn,t want to idle with the choke off despite changing the o rings & cleaning the carbs, didn,t know if this vacuum business was anything to do with it

only plug the vacuum port if you have not got a vacuum tap, DO NOT plug the vent hoses.
look at this link for some better information....
