    1988 gs450 carb model

I am looking to rejet my carb on the 1988 gs450 I am believe the model of the carb is a vm33 smooth bore, but I am not positive - so before I order some jets could anyone verify this?

Why do you feel the need to re-jet? Did you change the exhaust or air filter from the stock configuration?

I hope you didn't order jets for a VM33 smoothbore. That isn't what is in the picture.

Are those the cheap Emgo pod filters? If so, they are garbage. It's almost like they were designed to hinder engine performance.

I would get the new (good) filters before I started jetting. That is, unless you want to go through it twice.

                      Emgo pod filters are JUNK.

I have never tried them,. so I can't say. I have only used K&N filters, and have heard good things here about APE pods. Those would be my choices.
