    Question about carburetor body internals

Are there any hidden rubber pieces to be aware/worried about inside the carb body once the contents of the bowl and cap have been removed?

I have heard that there is occasionally some felt or rubber pieces inside near the throttle plates. This is my first foray into rebuilding the carbs on my GS650G, and I am trying not make things worse.

just some small o-rings. these are what you need to worry about. you will need to order an o-ring kit because all of the o-rings in your bs32 carbs will probably be shot. make sure that you follow the carb cleaning pages.

Have you read the CV Carb rebuild procedures found on Basscliff's site - http://members.dslextreme.com/users/bikecliff yet? If not, go download and follow it to the letter as it answers your questions.
