    carbs

    I picked up a rack of carbs 26mm minukis for a gs750 1978. well there isn't any air screws on the carbs and im wondering,. just clean,with new kits and good to go? they were sold as gs750 carbs . thanks for any info.

      kawasaki carbs by the sound of it....
      1978 GS1085.

        the area where the air screw is suppose to be is sealed off ,,,from factory I guess all four! I didn't notice this in the pics when I bought them off E bay. there are the fuel metering screws and the rest of the carbs look as any other 26mm mikuni rack. the main jets are 107, and the pilots are 15

          In addition to the "fun" of trying to dial in your idle mixture, your mains are off, too. Stock mains were 100.

            early (77ish) Kawasaki KZ650 carbs.
            1978 GS1085.
