Sound clip of GS1000 Motogpwerks exhaust?

Anyone have one installed on a larger GS model, preferably a 1000? I'm kicking the tires on buying one but would like to see what it sounds like before purchasing and I can't find a video of one installed on a GS anywhere. Thanks!

I have one on my '82 GS1000SZ, Katana. I love the sound of it. The bike is not together at the moment, been doing some minor repairs. As soon as I get it back together, I'll record the sound.

How would you compare to a V&H exhaust in volume/tone? If it's suitable for the street then I'm good with that. I just would hate to be stuck with an ear-bleeder.

It's definitely not an ear-bleeder... I have a V & H on my '80 GS1000, and the sound is comparable, the Moto is deeper toned.

Side question: Does the frame have to be cut OR the pegs have to be removed on a GS1000? I was told they did but the last pic on the motogpwerks eBay listing shows a blue GS1000 with the passenger peg still in place. Can anyone shed some light on that for me?

Mine bolted right on the Kat, no modifications or peg removal. I'll let you know about the GS1100E, this week. But our measurements show it to be a straight bolt-on, also.

Is the 1100E frame similar to my 1000?

Anyone have any insight about the fitment?
