Well, the baffle blew out of my Kerker.

When I bought the bike, the previous owner told me that the baffle had blown out on him at highway speed- but he found it. He put it back in by wedging a wood screw between the baffle and the pipe, and it held like that... for years.

I took the wood screw out, re-packed the baffle and put it back in with that same trusty wood screw. Only my repair didn't hold.

The pipe is in good shape. But now it has no baffle...

I'm guessing I need this baffle:

Because that's pretty much what my pipe looks like. $100? damn.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

The mounting flange of the baffle had some rust damage. I was planning on putting a couple of self-tapping screws in it, but it's gone now. I need a new baffle!
