    Carb screws

I took my carbs apart to clean them and in putting them back together I noticed that the screws that go into the top lid and bottom bowl are getting worn out. They appear to be the same size screws, just the bottom bowl ones have lock washers and the top diaphragm lids do not.

My question is, can I just get them from the hardware store? They look like normal machine screws to me. The parts websites want $2-something a screw, plus shipping, plus waiting time.....I could probably get a whole box for $5 at lowes....

What bike are you working on? Please edit your profile to show what bike you have and maybe even an approximate location on this big blue marble we call "home".

You can find carb screws on eBay, but it will be up to you to choose the right kit, because we don't have a clue what you have.
