i have to agree... it seems kinda counterintuitive. mind you i am NO expert when it comes to carbs but over jetting, then adjusting from there seems...wrong. i don't wanna do it wrong. i want this old girl to the the ton without choking. the 138 seems alittle hot for 3000ft. again i might be wrong (its known to happen) but putting in the the samller jet and setting it to mid on OEM needle is the first thing i thought of when i c ame cross this problem to start with..that's not a good thing. i was hoping since it was folks on this site who told me to buy this kit (that i'm prudy sure wouldn't never work anyway) could give me some asisstance since THEY have already installed it. i really don't mean to come off as a dick, but i'm fustrated and am hearing advise that is contradictionary to "my all be it" limited knowledge. sorry if i ****ed any one off. Ireally don't need "hay try this" **** it all. if you know what your talking about i am all f'n ears.

BTW, a 138 Dynajet is equal to a 130 Mikuni jet and would be way too fat to run an a stock 1000 even with pods or no air filter at all.

Use this chart the next time that you care to give BAD advice on the internet about something that you know NOTHING about.
