    oversize inlet rubbers

    any recommendation for the best oversize inlet rubbers to fit 33mm carbs on a GS1000 head? dont mind paying good money for quality parts, dont want cheap, bad fitting tat........

    Dunno what these are like from Nick Pepper Age:

    GS1000 Inlet Rubbers. Oversize. set of 4.. Oversize rubbers to fit bigger carbs on early heads. Suzuki Performance Spares, motorcycle spare parts online
    79 GS1000S
    79 GS1000S (another one)
    80 GSX750
    80 GS550
    80 CB650 cafe racer
    75 PC50 - the one with OHV and pedals...
    75 TS100 - being ridden (suicidally) by my father

      those are not the best fit Wally, they are only 58mm hole centres so they need to be enlarged slightly to fit. i was looking at the rubbers from these guys, genuine Mikuni with the right hole centres, although the mounting holes are 8mm that will be easy fixed with a shouldered bolt or a simple spacer washer. The 60 x 34 x 40 x 8 are the correct size, about £25 each.

        yep, my rubbers need the holes easing slightly to fit the bolt centres, but onc done they work great. i use them on my 1176 gs1000,and have sold many to xr69 gs1000 reps with big carbs. they are a cost effective solution i think. nick

          Over here in the US we don't want ANY holes in our rubbers.

          1980 GS1000GT (Daily rider with a 1983 1100G engine)
          1998 Honda ST1100 (Daily long distance rider)
          1982 GS850GLZ (Daily rider when the weather is crap)

          Darn, with so many daily riders it's hard to decide which one to jump on next.

              i have bought the set from Motocarb, genuine Mikuni rubbers, complete with correct size jubilee clips.
