Rebuilt with 1133 kit, had the head decked .005, valves lapped, new stem seals, Added V&H 4-1, K&N in stock air box. Compression is 160's.
Carbs were totally overhauled, dipped in berrymans, ultrasonically cleaned, all o rings replaced, floats set, needle and seat replaced, mixture screws/washer/orings replaced and set at 2 1/2, vacuum synced, Dynojet kit, 45 pilots, DJ114 Main (Stage 1), DJ Needles, slides drilled,
A board member here advised me to set mixture screws by adjusting until highest idle but I can't see enough difference to adjust this way.
The number one plug shows rich, others appear normal. Also it should be noted that number 1 doesn't run well on choke (judging by header temp) Its only warm while other 3 are hot, but after turning off choke you can tell it comes alive.
I can't find any abnormalities in this carb,it was cleaned exactly as all the others, and am suspect it may be the reason its stumbling.. or it could be the jetting all together.
A proper riding is a very difficult procedure as it is about 10 degrees and I live on dirt road, which is currently a skating rink. The stumble is occurring on the lift in a heated garage as well as riding it.
Timing is good. I am just looking for some thoughts on the rich plug and heavy stumble. Thanks!
