    petcock

    The damn thing will not turn now! I turned it to prime and now it wont move. No off position? What...

    Whats the corrct for fuel flow? On or fuel?

    Lever pointing straight down to the ground is normal running position.

      got the dang thing to turn, Im not sure why it was so tough. I was surprised how clean the petcock screen was

        If you're new to this, dont leave it on prime (pri). If left on for an extended time with the bike off, gas will eventually fill the carbs, make its way into the cylinders, then fill the crankcase.
        A dot or of oil where the lever turns may ease operating it a bit. I do this to mine every couple of years. It will likely free up a bit over time, now that the bikes 10 year slumber is over.

            On or reserve (preferably on, so in case you run out of gas you can then switch to reserve)The petcock is vacuum operated. Vacuum from the engine opens it when starting / running. Prime setting is on all of the time, and generally only needed if the cycle has been sitting for a
            a while, and at that, just prime it for a few minutes before starting it, then switch it back to on.
