    vm 28 pumpers help

    i got a set of vm28mm pumpers , it has both pumps , questions are #1, will they be a up grade to the vm26s, and 2, if so dose any one know about them or were I can get info on them?

    bike is 79, gs 1000 , stock with pods, 4 to 1 exhaust ,

    Yes, they will be a noticable upgrade to the VM 26

    what information are you looking for? They're Kawasaki carbs

      Go here and click on the blue link about online catalog. Go to index and see what pages the VM28s are on. They will show what is and isnt still available from Mikuni. And right below that link is the price catalog PDF. The will charge you an extra 5 bucks if your not a dealer..but hey what the heck.

        thanks guys , like to know is how come there is no fuel screw and how do you tune it? and in the fuel bowls there is a c-clip with a brass weight and a ball , do all 4 bowls get them? , how do you adjust the pump rod ? and any thing you guys can ad to help me ?

            You could PM AZR with your set up questions. I'm pretty sure he redid a set

              Ive redone several sets but I dont fiddle with the arms. I dip them and rebuild them just like you would any VMs. just dont start tweeking stuff..my theory isn its set as it is so why do something thats not needed and then have them all jacked up.
