slingshot carb help
Using 36mm slingshot carbs on my GS1100E.When trying to fit them in,I broke off one of the nipples that are on the top cap/slide cover. Its a fairly clean break and could be super glued and epoxied.Good idea or bad idea? New ones are $46. Also I need fuel line and a couple of T's for it.The fuel intake nipple measured 8mm.Checking through the forum, most said to use 7mm oem suzuki hose and no clamp.Thoughts?Current Rides: 82 GS1100E, 00 Triumph 955 Speed Triple:twistedevil:, 03 Kawasaki ZRX1200, 01 Honda GL1800, '15 Kawasaki 1000 Versys

BADJACKSON
JB weld Or Mighty Putty. I've seen JB last for a lot longer than anyone thought it should. And the Mighty Putty type stuff is pretty neat. Once cured, you can drill & tap it!!!
Another good thing to try is to drill & pin it before "glueing"
Good luck.
