    slingshot carb help

Using 36mm slingshot carbs on my GS1100E.When trying to fit them in,I broke off one of the nipples that are on the top cap/slide cover. Its a fairly clean break and could be super glued and epoxied.Good idea or bad idea? New ones are $46. Also I need fuel line and a couple of T's for it.The fuel intake nipple measured 8mm.Checking through the forum, most said to use 7mm oem suzuki hose and no clamp.Thoughts?

JB weld Or Mighty Putty. I've seen JB last for a lot longer than anyone thought it should. And the Mighty Putty type stuff is pretty neat. Once cured, you can drill & tap it!!!
Another good thing to try is to drill & pin it before "glueing"
    Good luck.
