    Jordan,

I've got a brand new OEM 44mm petcock if you're interested - I bought it for my 1979 GS1000 but didn't know at the time that my fuel tank was off a 1980 which has 50mm hole centres for the petcock. It is part number 44300-44011. It is vacuum operated and has ON/RES/PRI. I paid $US350 (+shipping!!) to get it to my place in Australia but I'll take much less to offload it. PM me if you might be interested.

Can order the new ones from Parts Outlaw for around 90.00 US. And yes it is vacuum operated in the ON and RES positions. PRI will free flow so you can PRIme the dry carb bowls after a maintenace session. Be sure the suction line from carb 3 to the petcock is new so there arent any vacuum leaks.

I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.

Thanks sealpup. I don't know if we could find a price to make us both happy. Shipping would likely be expensive too.
