RS 36 needle valve assembly

I just bought a set of new needle valve seats and needles for a set of RS36's. The seats aren't threaded. I'm afraid I'm going to tear them up or damage the body getting them out. Do they just pull out?

Isn't there a little clip and screw retaining the seat ? Just remove this and grasp firmly with pliers, the seat should pull out.
If it won't, and you have replacement seats to go in, run a tap into the bore of the seat and pull on that.

These don't have the clips. But, if I can't pull them right out I like the idea of running a tap in. Thanks, Greg.
