4/1 Secondary pipe diameter
Does anyone know what the diameter of the secondary pipe is on most 4/1 systems? plan on fabbing up my own header and need to know what size I should make the secondary pipe. I was thinking 2 1/2 or 2 1/4?Tags: None

You will need to know what size mufflers are available. I have seen just about every size between about 1 3/4 and 3 inches.
The outside diameter of the collector on my bike measures 2.45". (I have been led to believe it is a Jardine system.)
The same measurement on my son's bike is 2.50". (That is on a MAC.)
