Does anyone know where I could buy new factory exhaust for my 79 GS1000L? I don't really like the MAC turnouts and V&H aftermarket exhaust.

I don't think so. The seams are folded over. You would have to cut open the muffler to do the surgery.Ed

The parts fiche shows the headers still available but a full set would set you back north of $600. eBay is your best bet for the mufflers (and probably the headers too).Comment
